Simon, many thanks for the kind mention of my new business venture, manmythandmagic.com. After a few teathing problems the site is now fully up and running. There are over 500 books on all types of esoteric subjects, with prices from £2 upwards, so hopefully something for everyone!
New second-hand esoteric book service launched
Super-psychic and veteran quester Richard Ward (see the forum section for Richard’s introduction) is about to launch an online site called Man, Myth and Magic which will support the buying and selling of second-hand books in areas from Psychic Questing to Herbalism.
The site is planned to go live on Friday 16th September and maybe Richard can post some more information here when it is up and running.
We wish him all the best with this venture.
Win £1 Million!
Readers of The Daily Grail may have already spotted this but as it’s something quite unusual, I think it’s worth repeating here.
To promote the launch of a new book, the publishers are offering £1,000,000 to whoever can "crack the code". The webite is here: http://www.maranatha-puzzle.com . It all sounds quite strange (the website is actually down as I write this which isn’t a good sign) but worth keeping an eye on. Continue reading

Andrew Collins – Psychic Questing Interview
Book Review: The Holy Grail – The History of a Legend
I’ve been commuting to Olympia for most of this week and with the arduous and intricate sequence of trains that I’ve been obliged to take to get there (for example I can get from Haslemere to Clapham Junction directly very early in the morning but not thereafter – and I can’t get directly from Clapham Junction to Haslemere at all) I have finally had the chance to read Richard Barber’s treatment of the Grail legend, “The Holy Grail: The History of a Legend”. Book Release: Walkabout
Mark Patrick Hederman is a Benedictine monk from Glenstal Abbey in Ireland. For many years now he has been engaging in activities that bear more than a passing resemblance to Psychic Questing. Although the wrapper around them is firmly Christian, this should not distract you from an extremely interesting exercise in living your life as a permanent quest. A full review will follow but for the moment here’s the publisher’s notes: Continue reading
The Green Stone Tour 2005/QuestCon05
Andrew Collins has released details of two significant Psychic Questing events on his website: The Green Stone Tour 2005 and QuestCon05.
Both these events, being held on consecutive weekends at the end of October/start of November, are still some way off. However, with the current resurgence of interest in Psychic Questing you would probably be advised to check these out sooner rather than later. Continue reading
Review: Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell
This is a review of Susanna Clarke’s novel Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, originally posted by me on the Crooked Timber (www.crookedtimber.org) website.
I?ve just finished Susanna Clarke?s Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell and can?t recommend it highly enough.
Price of Questing Books Continues to Soar
Since investing in some out of print Questing books, I’ve been keeping an eye on the recent auction prices on eBay.
And it seems the amount that people are willing to pay shows no sign of slowing. Most recently a signed, first edition copy of “The Sword and the Stone” fetched £125 (see here). Continue reading
